The takeaway giants Just Eat, have created a new food business Bible specifically for UK local businesses and independent restaurants to help them drive sustained growth.
Business owners within the restaurant sector are under a great deal of stress due the growing number of day-to-day operations they now need to complete to remain afloat. 65% of restaurant owners have said they are worried about whether they will be able to keep profitability levels stable, and 63% said they would be happy to receive guidance on how they can grow their business.
Named “The Business Booster”, this programme has been specially designed to give restaurants the support they need to overcome those barriers so they can develop their business.
Just Eat will be working alongside Sarah Willingham - former Dragon from Dragon’s Den UK - and their aim is to give restaurant owners who are struggling, one-to-one mentoring to help them succeed in the business world.
It’s safe to say Sarah’s experience and expertise will be most welcomed by these restaurant owners; seeing as she has held senior management roles at PizzaExpress and played a key role in helping Bombay Bicycle Club become the UK’s largest Indian chain restaurant! Her advice will also be shared through Just Eat’s communication channels and she is also planning on using blogs and regional events to provide extra business guidance.
